What we do
JW Hay is run by Justin Wiker out of Powell, Wyoming. We buy and broker good hay and move it by the truckload to the people who feed it: dairies, horse barns, feed stores and cattle outfits.
Right now that is straight alfalfa, alfalfa grass mix, orchard brome mix, orchard timothy mix, straight timothy, western alfalfa pellets, in small-bale bundles, 3-string and big squares.

The hay sits at 8 yards in 4 states. On a long haul the trucking can cost as much as the hay, so we price every request from the yard closest to the buyer that has what they feed.
Why this site exists
For a long time our hay sold through Facebook posts. It works, until it does not: a post brings more questions than one person can answer while loading trucks, and a comment thread is a poor place to price a semi load.
